Parents/Teens
As a parent, it can be painful to watch your teen struggle or change in ways you don’t fully understand. As a teenager going through it, things can be rough.
Sometimes parents notice shifts that feel confusing or concerning. A once outgoing teen may withdraw, become more anxious or irritable, struggle with motivation, or seem overwhelmed by emotions. Other teens become very hard on themselves, overly responsible, or focused on keeping everyone else happy. These patterns often develop as ways of coping with difficult or stressful experiences. I work with teens and their parents to help shift these patterns.
Therapy can offer a supportive space to make sense of what they’re feeling, learn ways to regulate overwhelming emotions, and rebuild confidence and connection.
Young Adults
As a young adult, life can be challenging to navigate. You’re balancing new responsibilities, changing relationships, and the pressure to figure out who you are and what you want. These transitions can feel exciting—and overwhelming at the same time.
In our work together, we slow down and explore how these experiences show up for you. Instead of trying to “fix” anything, we focus on understanding patterns that may have developed over time and how they influence your relationships, emotions, and sense of self today.
The goal is to help you build self-awareness, trust in yourself, and the freedom to move toward the life that feels most authentic to you.
Adults
You may be managing daily responsibilities and relationships, yet still feel that something isn’t quite right. Many adults carry the lasting effects of earlier experiences without fully realizing it. You might notice persistent anxiety, self-criticism, people-pleasing, difficulty setting boundaries, or feeling either emotionally shut down or easily overwhelmed. These patterns often began as ways to cope and survive, but over time they can start to feel restrictive. Therapy can provide a compassionate space to explore these patterns, uncover their roots, and build healthier ways of relating to yourself and others.
